It is safe to use your credit card when shopping online at e-Magazine-Subscriptions. We take your security seriously. From the time that you log in to your account, until you log out, you enter into a secure environment.
Your personal details are encrypted using the latest industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 128 Bit encryption technology. They are sent over the internet in this format to the Authorized Retailer and on to your bank. Our Authorized Retailer also operates in a SSL environement when they collect your credit card details.
e-Magazine-Subscriptions does not collect your credit card number, nor store it.
You can always tell if a website is operating in secure mode by looking for the tell-tale signs:
- A secure icon will appear at the bottom of your browser window. For Netscape, this is a key icon; for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Firefox, a lock icon.
- The URL will change: instead of beginning with the standard 'http://' the URL will begin with 'https://'
