When a Gift Voucher is redeemed its dollar value is added to your Gift Kitty Account. The value of your Gift Kitty Account is stored in our database.
The monies in your Gift Kitty Account are always used against your next purchase at e-Magazine-Subscriptions.com.
Your Gift Kitty Account balance may:
- be less than the value of your purchase -> make sure you have your credit card details ready to 'top up' your Gift Kitty Account
- equal the value of your purchase - your Gift Kitty Account will return to $0
- be more than the value of your purchase -> proceed with your purchase, no credit card details are required; your Gift Kitty Account will then show your new, reduced balance
The balance in your Gift Kitty Account is shown in My Account and on the Shopping Basket and Payment Pages
Gift Kitty Account money MAY NOT be used to purchase a Gift Certificate. You must spend your Gift Kitty money on non-Gift Certificate items before you can purchase a Gift Certificate.
